Mr. Show on DVD
Just in case you didn't know, according to the BobAndDavid.com website, Holy Shit! First Ten episodes of Mr. Show to be released on DVD!!! February 27th to be exact. Also, their first feature film Run Ronnie Run just played at the Sundance Film Festival. All the reviews that I read (and yes it was more than one!) were positive. That should be out in April. I'm hoping that Tenacious D will follow soon after.

oh that is such good news. i just got a dvd player and have no money to get all the dvds i want! i can't believe hbo cancelled mr.show.
bastards.
oh and if they put the D out on dvd... hahaha! my favorite one was with the backstage betty... "so which one of you guys is gonna fuck me?" and kg says all quietly.. "i will" HAHAHA! wish i had taped those shows!

Apparently HBO has like 17 different channels now and there's an HBO Comedy channel which shows only Comedy stuff. I saw the Tenacious D episode the other night with Sasquatch and The Greatest Song In The World. They also played a David Cross standup show from 1999 which was hilarious. He went to town on religion.

oh i have that david cross show on tape! it is a great set...! i have heard about hbo comedy but naturally i don't get it. i *just* got comedy central last week, so i won't complain too much... ;)
